Do you believe in God, don't you think we were place here on earth for something bigger than our selves. If you are going through hell right now, dont you think God can take you out of that place, and place you in a place of peace, joy, and where his unfailing love is show to you. Remember the directio you choose to obey, determines the future you create.

In 10 years, I see myself as being 35 years old. Other than that, nothing is certain.

I have never really believed in god and officially became an atheist when I was 12. I am now 26 and have a very happy and healthy family. No higher power had a hand in anything that has happened in my life. At some point you need to wake up and realize that you are responsible for yourself. No one is out there tempting you to become a drug addict, wife abuser, child molester.....Just as no one is helping you finish school, get a good paying job, pay the mortgage. If any of those things happen to you it's because YOU made good or bad choices.

I see myself as a successful Father and great Husband. I refuse to put myself into boxes and will be willing to process new information based on the facts as they are presented. And No I'll not serve a God of human construct which is how the bible presents the almighty. I hope in ten years the at you have the same capacity for growth.

Your question is couched in terms that are absolutely meaningless to me. I do not see the source we sprang from as showing favoritism to anyone. God/nature/the universe is neither a bellhop nor a genie in a bottle, and sometimes the answer to our most fervent prayers is "no." The sun shines on the just and the unjust alike, and many people deemed unsuccessful by the world are the kindest, most supportive folks one can meet. To me, success in life is measured by how honest and helpful we are, and how we strive to bring out the good in ourselves and others. As to where I will be in 10 years, that's not up to me. I will continue to do the footwork in bettering my life, but I know that my " last goodnight" is not under my control.

In ten years, I see myself being in my fifties, with 15 years of atheism behind me. Not that I dwell on the past but I will slightly regret the wasted 35 or so years lost to religion.

Sorry, but I've had my fill of the "peace, joy, and unfailing love" of a being that is inconsiderate enough to hid all the evidence of every action that it allegedly did in this world and planted overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

in 10 years, I will just be finishing school, without god. I will be engaged to my atheist boyfriend (we are taking it slow). I will be looking for a nice house in the suburbs. I will do this all on my own. God cannot help me.

The only reason I am going through hell right now is because of religious fanatics (who i love more than anything in the world because they are my family) They put me in hell but its not eternal.

Waiting 10 yrs for grace to be sufficient,
could result in your @ss is grass by law.

"When seeing we also are compassed about",
then it's an end "run" (not a grace walk): Heb 12.

Yes i do believe all that actually. Now let me ask you something. What makes you think that the bible is what tells us that? Do not lean on the bible. You might fall over. Do not believe everything you read.
