While I am positive about many things.... one being God exists ..
I will listen to anyone with a positive approach in an intellectual discussion. Even at my age I can learn new things.
My mind, my spirit and my heart are always open....
geesssh...now I sound like one of them Methodist Commercials.

I am constantly looking to enlarge my conception about the Universe, our place in it, and how we all got here. I do believe there is some form of higher power, but I do not claim to know much about that power, only that I do believe in and pray to it. I think anyone who says they "know" there is no God, or they "know" that Jesus is the only way to Heaven is full of it. We are human beings, with limited understanding, and to claim we "know" anything is the epitomy or arrogance in my mind. I am constantly seeking, and will be 'til my breath ceases. I keep an open mind, and remember how many times in history things we "knew" were shown by science to be wrong. I believe, as Plato said, we are all just "looking at shadows" of reality.

I'm sure that any of the established belief systems has worse than a billion-to-one shot of being right and the more elaborately defined the belief, the worse the odds get.
It's exactly as likely that Heaven is full of beer volcanoes and beautiful strippers (Pastafarianism) as vegetarian lions lying about peacefully with lambs (Christianity) or 72 nymphomaniac virgin women for every man (Islam).
Whatever unreality you make up off the top of your head has as much chance of being what is beyond human secular existence. It doesn't matter which you choose, it is just plain old stupid, at best, to go believing in any of them, let alone defining the lives of yourself and your family members around them.
When whatever decision you make is as certain to be wrong as can be, best not to make up one's mind, at all. The costs to humanity that affording religions incur are monstrous.
Humanity needs to fight back.

Yes & Yes! Hi Kiddo! Two Qs. Two As.! Everyday Billions of people go to work in a car, right? Lets say that a Million of them are Mechanics & really know how the car works to get them to work, K??? Everybody else has No Clue, BUT, "Believes" that it will get them to work because they have "Tried" it & "Proven" that it works!!! Same thing with God. We don't know but a small bit about God having Many Questions that we are not sure of, but we can certainly decide / make up our minds about our relationship with God & how He works in our Lives! My core beliefs will never change, they are somewhat vague to begin with but there have been several times when people have opened my eyes to something I could not see before. Even on Yahoo

I am fully committed in my beliefs. I am not open to suggestions, however, I do debate when in the mood - not for want of information, but rather, to explain those beliefs and help others to understand, should they have questions in any area.

Personally I have my mind made up but if anyone can come with any evidence to show that I am wrong,I will always be ready to listen.
I'm not holding my breath though.

I've looked at many, many religions and none of them answer my questions so I am not committed to anything, if someone can give me answers then that's great, but until that time i say I am spiritual but not religious.
