I do, because I was there in the making of the split.
It is a long story, but it started with the Church of Christ and its narrow doctrines that most people did not want to follow literally. Well, groovy, said some younger leaders, (like Kip McKean -who I think even left the International Church-, and Marty Fuqua, and Jeff Hill, etc.), we'll just convert college aged students, expecially focusing on International students who may then go home to their own countries and start their own ministries.
It is something of a cult, but that is not to say it is probably more huge, and even more alive than the older church now is.
Whew, but what a ride that was.

The International Church of Christ (also known as the Boston Movement or Crossroads movement) broke off of the mainstream Church of Christ, so there are many areas where they are still the same.

One of the big differences is that the ICC practices much more involvement, some say control, in their members lives. This include aggressive recruiting practices, and once someone is a member, from what I understand, they are assigned to another member who they are to report to and confess their sins to. Such practices have led some to label the International Church of Christ as a "cult".

Yes. If we go by the Bible, the Church of Christ is only for the Jews. The international version seems to be just that, and thus ignoring the biblical teachings attributed to Jesus.

Denominational splits are an indication of exactly how unclear and unreliable the bible actually is.

Of course, the one to which you adhere is the "true" church, and the other is in error.
