Here's another loving verse from Psalm 2:8-9 where God says "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
Here God is telling us if we pray to him he'll give us possession of non-believers (heathens) to use as slaves or to simply beat to death. How lovely.

I would say that they both are inspired words of praise to God. Whether there is one with the most I am not sure, but I know that they both go about praising a little differently. The Old Testament praises God through his justice and through the many miracles he gives the children of israel. Also the beautiful words in psalms.
The new testament is the beautiful words of the Savior and the apostles. They are very praising and perhaps a little bit easier to understand as praise. But you will not find scripture that does not praise God. And you can't go wrong in reading either one.

As the Old Testament is three times the length of the New, it is going to have more words ("kind" and otherwise) to say about God then the New.

I would have to go with the New Test. only because God sent His only begotten Son as a propitiation for our Hell deserving sins and died on the cross for us. If this doesnt show Gods special love for us I dont know what does. Praise be to God
1John 4:7-8 "Brothers let us love one another for love is from God and every one that loveth is born of God and knowest God, he that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love, Brothers let us love one another" Amen

Both.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Go to this web site and listen to some of my music as you think and pray about it some more.

I'd have to go wtih the new testament.
The old testament God is a little unstable...
Especially when he tells his people to invade a village, kill the women, men, and boys, and take all of the virgin girls as wives.
And when they run out of virgins, he tells them to go on to the next village.

Both because they both teach us of how our God works and this is what counts. Thank you and God Bless you.
