I find that often I get disappointed in myself, and I can worry a lot about my family. I wish that believers could better represent God, myself included. The local, national and world news is always depressing. The relentless onslaught of satan, world and flesh gets me tired. What's a good Christian chap to do? Any inspirational, up-lifting words?

I suffer with the knowledge of perfection. The world all believes that they have to sin.I believe sin can be defeated, to walk perfect. You were once a sinner and by the power of God you became whole again. I suffer with the Christians saying they want someone to die for them and desire a saviour, and go on not knowing what the cross is about.....
you say a man can not perfect by his power, only by his blood can a man be perfect.....as far as I can tell only by his blood can you make it into heaven, not to be perfect. But the X true way to get in heaven is by father with his son.it was not suppose to be threw the blood of his son. For those who disagree, what kind of father would want to crucify his son? and make sure it is the only way, determined to make everyone sin.The way my soul sees it is we live, we are suppose to search and understand God, and God takes us to heaven, a son.The way God see it is, you live, you all go your own way, you do not understand God, you die in sin, because sin conquered you because you never thought about heaven, a sinner. So God came up with a plan with love, and crucified his son, to die for you, and all that JUST believe in his name will be saved and that he rose from the dead.....Romans 3:10-18.
and all you say is thank you, and still go your own way again....and do not desire all his righteousness, PERFECTION. mat 5:48.
seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and ALL of these things shall be given unto you.
Hosea 10:12. Seek TILL HIS righteousness FALLS upon you.
Romans 3:11 NO ONE SEEKS< NO ONE UNDERSTAND GOD>.
Jesus did not walk the earth just to be your sacrifice he also walked to show us how to walk....he was perfect, so can you be.
Matthew 26:39-44, shows HE JESUS did not want the cross, but was obediant to the father. You love the son you say, why do you give him the cross? Why do you still sin? Is it because the father in heaven wants him on the cross?
Matthew 7:8. all that ask, if you ask him for perfection in his righteousness you will recieve....but the chances are you will ask for things that you want, not to be free from sin. For God says all things are possible.

Pray and read the bible for direction. I feel bad when I committ a sin knowing that is was wrong. I pray and repent and turn away from that sin. I want to be more like Jesus

What makes me sad is to see that others are not following BIBLE principles, in the meantime you can listen to the JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES they have the answer to your questions, so the next time they come knocking open up to them ok?

I overcame it by realizing Jesus does not exist; and I resolved to believe in myself, my wife, and other people; and try to be good to other people.
To be responsible, respectful and resourceful.

Yes wake up and smell the coffee-Leave the faith and become your own person and realize that you are sufficient as you are.
