If there replaced right into a combat, it would be like this: BRICS and NATO are disbanded. China allies to India and facilitates India annex Bangladesh and Nepal. China publicizes conflict for Siberia. The Russians an individuals are acquaintances after the Putin assassination. u.s. joins the conflict on Russia's area. the U. S. and Russia DOMINATE the Air and sea , blocking off China and India and launching great scale bombings. Russia is crushed through the human wave tactic of China and Russia's huge military. outstanding in the previous the fall of Moscow, The Russians wipe China, India and somewhat lots the full continent off the map with nukes. the only residing chinese language and Indians are in POW camps interior the U. S. after the fallout styled invasion of Alaska. the U. S. wins through default cuz of survival, as China and India did no longer have adequate nukes to kill u . s . a . so as that they killed Russia. The planet is heavily broken however the hot international survives. (previous international engoulfed in nuclear conflict by using fact the fallout destroyed infrastructure.)

China winning a war against the US is highly unlikely, so is war for that matter. Sounds great for a movie, but not likely. Both armies have strong points (population for China, economy and bountiful technology for US, and both have nukes which is a major deturent) that would prevent the other from aggression. The Chinese government is like the US, they won't let their people die without justification (the current government moreso then previous ones). However, in case of a war, the US would probably throw off the gloves if it went nuclear.

If their weapons are anything like their toys, they'll blow up in their faces!

As time passes, the threat grows.

Someday people might be saying, as they do about America today, China is the ONLY "Super Power" in the world!!!

But don't wave a white flag just yet. Japan was going to pass the USA by, economically. Remember? But they turned out to have feet of clay. Maybe so does China.

I think the tactical response the usa would come up with is to nuke shanghai since its 8 times bigger than new york.

I seen a documentary that said at the rate china is growing, in 20 years they will need another earth just to supply the raw materials that they use.

china with the usa will be an interesting war even though no war is good but i think china can demolish the usa within seconds. Unfortunately i heard their weapons expire within a short period of time as cos of quality as all their products, however, the USA has a beautiful and advanced tech plus money. You forgot to mention all countries allies, where will you leave them? I am studying chemical engineering with my cousin but our plan work with nukes and be stubborn as shitss man, just watch out! oh we are all studying in china but computer is in russia.

The United States is totally dependent on loans from China to maintain it's military. All they would have to do is cut of the U.S. credit and no military action by the U.S. would be possible anywhere, if for no other reason they would then be able to outbid us for oil and cut off our fuel supply. We would also be unable to pay or supply our troops. Remember that the war in Iraq alone is costing around $10,000,000 an hour, and the national debt is climbing at a rate of $1.5 billion a day. No one can win a war by cutting off his ability to pay for it.

China doesn't want war with the USA, so don't worry. China is just negotiating a delicate route to modernity... and its doing pretty well. The US and Chinese economies are now so linked it wouldn't be in anyones interest to start fighting.

In any conventional war the USA wins against anyone. The USA has supremacy in every sphere. e.g. 12 CVNs versus Chinese 0.

Did you ever went to China , young guy ?
Where did you got that rubbish from ?
The Chinese government did their best to protect their people as US government did with their citizen. They have been active in a lot of trade organization. And when your civilization is still hunting and gathering, China had sent their diplomatic envoys for peacekeeping and cooperations with overseas.
Chinese people had known since ancient time, that no one can control other people, but can gain profit by becoming friends and trade partners.

It is unfathomable to think of the of repercussions of a nuclear war with China. China does have a larger military force, but the USA has greater technology. I think if the Chinese were to start a war, they would first strike at our allies in close proximity to them (S. Korea, Japan, and Australia) They should be the ones worrying.

Don't know where you got your information concerning China being willing to sacrifice many of their cites in a nuclear war.

The US has the most advanced military in the world. Distance between the two countries would be to our advantage.
