Im making my Christmas cards now. They are for all family and friends. Some are not religious, or not Christian. What would be a good greeting? I dont like the tired "Happy Holidays". I was thinking "Have a Magical Holiday", do you like that? Or, is it ok to write "Merry Christmas" since Christmas is also a secular holiday (Santa, etc.)?

Clarification: Some friends are Jewish. Some friends and family may not be religious. I just want to make one version of the card, thats why I need a greeting that covers everyone.

I like the "Have a Magical Holiday", that sounds really cute! I didn't think of that. Anyway, if they're all family and friends, wouldn't you know if they celebrate Christmas or not? if they do, it doesn't matter what religion they are, you can still say Merry Christmas.

i would stick with merry Christmas, i'm sorry , please don't take offense, but one should not be offended by Christ if they celebrate a holiday centered around his birth, it is a day that Christians have set aside to remember and celebrate the birth of their lord. and if others don't want any part of that then they shouldn't participate in the season at all. that's like me saying i'm not a Muslim but i'm going to celebrate Ramadan anyway, and i don't want to be told happy Ramadan, just happy holiday, sounds a little silly don't you think?

"Season's Greetings" and "Happy Holidays" always work .... also just a simple word like "JOY" "Peace" or "Love" will work
