Considering having other gods goes against the original 1st commandment but not having any gods is barely touched on in the Bible, which should be considered worse?

So far no one has answered the question. Did I post this at the wrong hour?

I would say that not believing in any gods is worse. Since I'm a Catholic.

Being a Christian, both are enormous sins by itself...

However looking at it at a different way, it is better to believe in something than to not believe at all, so long as the ones you believe in help you get through your day spiritually, and you know the rights and wrongs. Choosing not to believe at all, what would living do to a pagan?

As Napoleon Bonaparte would say,

"It is religion that keeps the poor from murdering the rich...."

at the time this commandment was written down, several thousand years ago, people were so primitive they could not conceive a world without any god.
most people living today are still primitive enough to believe there is at least one god, but some, usually more educated and intelligent than the average person, realize the truth, which is there is not even one god.

genuinely no longer! The Greek gods do exist, i'm specific of it. it is genuinely okay to worship them if that's what you like. individually, I persist with the ideals of the Norse gods. save doing what you're doing. there is not any longer something incorrect with believing interior the gods of our ancestors.

The worse thing is that you donot believe in yourself. If yes you would not have asked such an question.

You should have friend with different names and different face but all are your friends hope you agree with me, so are all gods.

It's worse to not believe in any god you have experience of, or to believe in any god you do not.

A sin is a sin. So both will be the same. Same intensity.

Nah, listen...nothing matters. Ok, I'm going to say it again...nothing matters. You can contradict me, but you'll never prove me wrong.

Both will get you to exactly the same place, so it really makes little difference.
