What would you do if your husband had a "friend" who is a totally dishonest pig in human clothing? I mean, this guy runs an illegal IT training "institute" where he trains people who aren't even educated, creates fake resumes, and then since he is a project manager, he goes from project to project firing other well qualified workers who have done nothing wrong, to give the job to his own students who then bribe him $2 per hour for the duration of the project. THat doesn't sound like big money but it is, he makes like $40K per month doing this and those guys he places in his projects don't even know their own work!

I don't know what company he is working for, but he is always bragging about getting rid of "goras" (Americans) and ripping off our country. I think he is an H1b holder, and I know for a fact all of his students are.

I am fed up with him. What can I do?

Start with your states department of education - the fraudulent "training institute" needs to be shut down and they'll investigate an unacredited school.

You could also report the kickbacks to the state employment agency - that's an unfair labor practice. Do it anonymously, and he won't know which of his many enemies has turned him in.

I don't know what you can do about the fired workers - but THEY can sue for wrongful termination - too many red flags and his employer might investigate. If your "friend" works for a large company, you could send an anonymous tip to the corporation about the kickbacks, but if it's his own business, that won't get you anywhere.

If you really want to get snarky, you could notify his clients - they'll put pressure on his employer...but you risk damaging the employer. Not a risk I'd want to take.

And, of course, the IRS for that $40 K in monthly income (that's what 480,000/ year? That's gotta show up somewhere).

The trick is to go after the things that are actually illegal, not just immoral.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I am sadly in the same position. Through someone I know very well I have come into contact with these 'pigs in human clothing'. They are all in respectable jobs (solicitors etc), but behind the scenes they are drug addicted low lifes. I honestly feel that it is wrong for other people (their clients) to put trust into them when they lead such double lives and are completely dishonest and untrustworthy. I keep getting the urge to shop them and then something stops me. What to do is a difficult one and I dont have an answer for you. Hopefully it helps knowing there are other people with the same dilemma! AND maybe this will give us the courage to do what is right

How soon would it reach a level of racial profiling ?The pro illegal accepts document fraud at certain levels. Much like you ask here, where does it end ? Should Americans entering into the game have degrees from colleges, transcripts all based on fraud to allow another to advance as they are not willing to make sacrifices to appreciate what they have even more. Our country is becoming corrupted. When document fraud is out of country a country starts to lose it's identity. No one is entitled to use document fraud as a means to not make a better life but as a means to have more money by dishonest practices.

I can relate. i know people right now who need turned in - but where do you turn them in at? the cops do nothing till they hurt someone physically. and the I R S doesn't have any teeth anymore. so who and where would you tell. it might in danger your life and living if someone found out and didn't like the way you told on them. don't go to police - they are not going to help YOU. in fact they make it worse! maybe a district attorney? or a court clerk can find an answer for you.

Personally this guy sounds like a real ripoff artist. I would rat him out in a very quiet way... so you don't hurt your husband.
This, to me, is illegal and is causing well qualified people to loose their careers that they work hard for.
TURN HIM IN! Or better yet, turn him out - show folks what he really does so it ruins his reputation for good and he doesn't just get a slap on the wrist.

Yes you should rat him out. Call the police, Call the better business bureau. If neither of them does anything give an anonymous tip to your local paper. Also tell anyone who has been negatively affected by his actions about him.

Yes rat him out. Get them deported and make them do it the right way. He can serve time for what he is doing and some American citizens can get their jobs back. Be sure your husband doesn't know what you are doing though.

Get a local TV news reporter on it. That is, IF your local news isn't bought and paid for. Do it anonymously but lay it on THICK as you tell them the gory details. I'd just LOVE to see this one on the nightly news!~

What goes around comes around. People like this usually find a way to crash and burn on their own. If it reaches a point where you should blow the whistle, do it.
