I do not desire Christians to project their delusions on my live, I've been there and seen its good and bad points. I'm much happier and fulfilled as an Atheist, than when I was a Christian.
As for feeling sorry for Christians, not sure if that is the right emotion or description of what I feel. For those that have blindly swallowed creationism, ID, or think that science is something you "believe", I feel only pity and embarrassment. This is along the lines of what you would feel if your friend went on national TV and fervently preached that the earth was flat or that the moon is green cheese.

sometimes I feel envious of Christians... I never really got the faith thing down... and a lot of Christians I know are actually extremely happy...
Your question implies that Christians are not happy people; I think that's as prejudiced as Christians saying that all atheists are immoral...
Don't be that way... Happiness is a very complex thing and although religion can sometimes be a pain and an obstacle, sometimes it even strengthens a person...
You're probably referring to intolerant and almost puritan Christians, I'm assuming... but many people might and will misinterpret your statement as a bigot who thinks he's better than everyone else... People don't need your compassion and even less your pity... and I'm not even a Christian btw...

we are happy , you just don't know the right Christians; don't generalize unless you have met every Christian and every atheist. It isn't hard to not to be selfish, self centered and full of ego; there is more room for better feelings b/c it is not to full of SELF and room for little else; the big white elephant in the room

lol, you know... your other question irritated me, so I figured I'd check out your profile and see what kind of person you are. I'm not at all impressed...
Oh, and I'd rather lose my legs than have someone like you feel sorry for me... as I'm sure most of the rest of us would... so really... don't bother.
One more thing... if some Christian has offended you... please let it go... you're annoying the crap out of the rest of us...
aaaaand bring on the thumbs down

I'm not just happy. I have joy in my heart.
Thanks for the concern. I think most of us Christians wish that we to can do something for atheists like you.
Peace.

I was atheist before and I was miserable.
I am Christian now and extremely happy and full of joy !!!!
So yes I feel sorry for those not yet educated enough to believe in a real living God.

Not really. A lot of them ARE happy, and I don't really think they want our pity, either. As Deke said, they have the same resources available the rest of us do. Plenty of things happened to me that influenced me to believe, but I was still able to overcome and see through the myths.

I'm looking into ways to profit off of them like their religious leaders do. Just look at them as an easy source of income by preying up on their black and white, light and dark, belief system. These sheeple need herded so you might as well do some of the herding instead of getting steered around with them. We need to stop telling them the truth about their religion and start making money off of it!

Some of them. You talk to these guys that you can tell would be so much happier if they just left go, but they are to afraid. I do feel sorry for them.
But most Christians are quite happy in their delusion.

What makes you think many Christians aren't happy?
All Christians are individuals. You get...
...Happy, sad, smart, scientists, teachers, paupers, fools, bigots, samaritans, seekers, non-seekers, etc etc...
all kinds of people call themselves Christians.
