Yes , I am interested in understanding more about it. You hear so many strange and conflicting things. I'm a Chrsitian and am not interested in converting, but I think it helps everyone to understand each other better. For instance, I read on here that in the Quran, Mohammed says Allah is a deceiver. Is that true, that it says that? and what is the exact quote? That one bothers me, because I see God and Allah as the same supreme being, but that we view him and worship him differently. In Christianity we believe Satan is the deceiver and God is truth and love.

I am not curious about Islam. I know enough. In my opinion it should have been Muslims that Hitler was rounding up instead of the Jews. The world would be a much better place today if that had been the case. Come on. Who wants to follow a religion that was headed up by a pedophile prophet? No thanks.

"Are you(people who aren't muslim) curious to know more about islam?"
No. I want nothing to do with your hateful, controlling religion or it's foolish followers.
"What do you really know about it till now?"
I know there is a British teacher possibly facing forty lashes and six months in prison, because of the ideology, promoted by Islam.
I know there is a young Muslim girl, who is facing 200 lashes and six months in prison, after she was alone with a male friend, kidnapped and then gang raped, because of the ideology, promoted by Islam.
I know that a female writer and doctor by the name of Taslima Nasreen, has had a bounty placed on her head, been beaten and forced to live in exile, due to her advocacy of equal rights for women and her autobiography, which Muslims claim to be insulting to Islam. Again, all because of the ideology, promoted by Islam.
I know that Muslims, who were protesting over cartoons of Mohammad in a newspaper, set fire to the Norwegian and Danish Embassies in Syria, storming European buildings, and desecrating the Danish, Norwegian and German flags in Gaza City. Again, all because of the ideology, promoted by Islam.
Do you see a trend here? This is just a short list, of the many numerous examples of Islam's forced oppression and control of people. Islam is not about peace and love, so please do not start spouting that garbage. I am sick of Muslims and their lies. They are undeserving of the common decency offered to most people.

What do I know? Only what I read from the koran, and what I have seen and heard. I see a huge difference between what is said in the book, and what some of the supposed followers are doing in the world.
I suppose every religion has some people that go off the deep end.

I want to know why Muhhamad was known as a prophet not the Messiah, yet speaking out against him is considered a direct attack on Allah and is legaly seen as heresy under sharia?
I want to know why if there is no compulsion in Islam, they state in the Qur'an anyone trying to leave the religion must be beheaded?
I want to know how they honestly convince themselves that the Christians started war with them when it took 400 years of attacks against 2/3rds of the Christian world before the Christians started the Crusades and declared war on Islam?
I want to know why the prophet Muhhamad needed to forcefully invade Medina, his homeland?
I want to know why the prophet Muhhamad needed to forcefully invade Jerusalem?
I want know why Muhhamad specificallly stated adulterers should be killed slowly and painfully and not granted a swift death? especially after knowing of Galations.
Aaj, thank you for your answers so far, I wil be able to come back with references for the spefications of stoning later.
On the other hand saying "Check your history again, who was attacking who". That is a typical write-off, and evading answering it is recorded in your own texts that Muhammad took full blown War to citys that where all living in peace. When his armys attacked places such as Mecca what where they doing? Liberating Muslims, (impossible by your own accounts) slaughtering a combined Jewish/Christian community?(No you spared and exiled civilians, taking their homes and possesions but leaving their lives).
No matter whose history you consult including your own hadiths, you started and aggressed that war. Muslims invaded Mecca, and Constantinople before ANY Christian forces opposed them(With the exception of those trying to defend citys from the inside). There is a 300 Year gap between Muslim invasions of Mecca, and Constantinople before the Crusades began.
I am not a Christian, but this is quite clearly fact, Hadiths give the best evidence.
So far your answers, are based on evasion and outright lies. Thank you though. I like how your Video blames the Jews and equates apostacy with the use of nuclear weapons and acts of violence, meaning chopping off the head is somehow non-violent.

I see it in the news every day. I see fools that support fools that try to go back to the dark ages by destroying everything even though they live in civilized nations. I see planes flying into buildings in the name of some worthless god that cannot fight for himself. I see psychopathic religious leaders that froth at the mouth when speaking of everyone else but will put bombs on children to kill other children. A faith of peace? Hardly.
What else do I need to know?

[edit]
A Jew and a Jewess were brought to Allah's Apostle on a charge of committing an illegal sexual intercourse. The Prophet asked them. "What is the legal punishment (for this sin) in your Book (Torah)?" They replied, "Our priests have innovated the punishment of blackening the faces with charcoal and Tajbiya." 'Abdullah bin Salam said, "O Allah's Apostle, tell them to bring the Torah." The Torah was brought, and then one of the Jews put his hand over the Divine Verse of the Rajam (stoning to death) and started reading what preceded and what followed it. On that, Ibn Salam said to the Jew, "Lift up your hand." Behold! The Divine Verse of the Rajam was under his hand. So Allah's Apostle ordered that the two (sinners) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned. Ibn 'Umar added: So both of them were stoned at the Balat and I saw the Jew sheltering the Jewess.

I tried asking about it once. But the person ignored my questions and tried to convert me.
I gave up. No religion that puts more emphasis on conversion than education is worth the effort to learn about.
