"idee fixe." From the French, meaning a fixed and obsessional belief held in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

It's definitely not faith. Some faiths have no evidence for or against them. I may have faith that there is no god but there is little evidence or logical reasoning that disproves a god (although there is plenty that disproves the ridiculous Christian god or the ridiculous flying spaghetti god).
It is not religion. Religion is more than a single belief. A religion needn't have any invalidating evidence against it before it can become a religion.
It does seem to be a bit delusional. I would say "denial".
