The WCC would like to because it is the organization that will prescribe the religion of the world when the anti-christ establishes his rule on earth during the tribulation time.
All people will be required to become part of the WCC. Personally I will be glad I am not here but will have been raptured out before that happens. You can be gone as well if you accept Jesus as your true Lord.
