I've been wondering this as well. I have twin three year olds who still don't cover themselves up. They will yell across the house for me to cover them up. I check on them before I go to bed and my husband checks when he comes home from work, just to make sure they are covered up. I'm hoping they'll learn this pretty soon, because I hate the thought of them getting cold at night.

Thats a good question! I always thought it was weird that my son was 5 before he started doing that. My daughter is 3 and is still not doing it. I quess they figure it out if they get cold enough.
