when I cook anything in the oven lately, theres a ton of smoke coming out, I cleaned the bottom where most of the oil drips down too but smoke still comes out!! Is this normal? Will my oven explode? I'm very worried espically when other peoples around it.

I usually dont use the oven much, I havent used it in a few years actually. So there was ALOT of oil (like black stuff), and my oven seems to click every once and awhile, is that normal too?

Where there is smoke, there is grease.

If you have a bottom broiler, check that part as well, could be grease buildup there too.

Make sure the top, sides and bottom are very clean.

Worst case, you could have a malfunctioning oven. If so, buy a new bosch oven with european convection. You won't ever remember the old oven after that :)

If you have it, turn you r oven to Self Clean and let it do it's thang. Turn on your over-stove vent!

If you dont' have it, you will need to get in there w/ some Easy-Off or Dawn Release and get the grease or spilled food up. Do it in a cold oven (duh) and let it sit a few minutes to make scrubbing easier.

In the future, put a cookie sheet or foil under whatever you are baking/roasting to catch drips.

sounds like it need a good cleaning... try the easy off oven spray, it actually works very well.... you spray it on, turn the oven on, let it sit, then wipe it out... most ovens are self cleaning now.... so if your oven isnt self cleaning, (it will say on the front of the stove and you will see on one of the dials "self clean") use the easy off!!!
