I let one go in front of my b/f and now I am too embarassed to face him. I just pulled the covers over my face and then waited til he got up and showered and went home before I would even get out of bed. At first I didn't think he heard it, but I know he did, because he got up and turned on the ceiling fan to try and circulate some fresh air.
He is coming over tonight and I can't face him. Please help me, what should I do?

just steer away from the subject, and pretend it never happened. This is a guy, remember, chances are he's forgotten about it already, and simply found it humourous at the time!!
My boyfriend had been going out with me for a month, and hadn't kissed me. i was becoming so annoyed. then on thursday he did. i was so excited, i sent a text to my best friend saying 'OMG HE FINALLY FINALLY KISSED ME'
and accidently sent it to him.,

did i avoid him? yes
was it only a few days ago? yes
was it absolutely fine the next time i faced him, the next day? 100%

brag!!!!you made him get out of the bed AND turn on the fan. I would have let it bake under the covers and then faned it out with the blankets. Next time see if you can get him while hes in a dead sleep. But be for warned. He might try to get you back. In other words DONT WORRY!!! We all fart, pass gas, bake brownies, make the asshole talk shitt!!

Don't worry bout it. The 1st time i farted on my boyfs leg i thort e was sleep, felt well wrecked in the morn. It soon passes coz now 2 years on we find farting very amusing!!!! The louder n smellier the better! Only infront of each other tho!

It's going to be fine. You will both get along your way and won't even think about it. One of these days ask him if he wants you to give him a "Louis Armstrong". That is where he places his mouth around your bum and you let one go thus blowing his cheeks out like he's playing the trumpet. Good times....

oh lovely it happens though!!! i mean what are you going to do if you end up living together? do you go to the toilet in front of him? have you been in the bathroom when he pees???
i'm afraid its just one of those things that people have to get used to. your boyfriend is naive if he thinks you dont fart and you are silly to worry about it! i'm sure he's let rip infront of you!!! and i'm sure he enjoys doing it when he's around his male friends! all you can do is make humour out of the situation! e.g i would have asked him to turn the ceiling fan up!!! LOL!
to be with someone you need to be comfortable enough to be yourself when you are around them, and if you cant fart pee or poo around them then there is a problem!!!

Lol- it just shows you are human- my boyfriend said men hate girls who were too afraid to fart in front of them because it shows they cannot relax in their company. If the situation were reversed do you think he would worry about facing you tonight? I doubt it- its probably very much forgotten about by now!

i understand how embarrassing it can be...but it depends how long you've been going out. if its been the first fart in ur relationship then yes its shameful but if you like him enough you do have to face him.
if its a long term relationship, you must question why you feel so 'uncomfortable' and why you can't do what naturally comes to everyone infront of him...
