If it offends your brother, then you shouldn't do it in front of him. It might cause him to stumble into trouble even if it's not a problem for you.

When in doubt, check with the Holy Spirit. A simple prayer and a quiet heart willing to listen should make it crystal clear as to what the plan is regarding this issue... as it pertains to your life. (not necessarily for someone else's)

it is impossible to consume most foods without ingesting a minuscule amount of alcohol ( DAMN YOU CHEMISTRY!!), from a theistic angle it is generally accepted that if the alcohol wears out of the blood stream at a rate which makes intoxication impossible then it is not sinful to consume.

otherwise drinking alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content that makes intoxication possible is forbidden.
