I'm not a native English speaker who goes to a Panel (discussion) class for improvement and I have to suggest a topic for our discussion (in a Yahoo Group), now I want my topic to be corrected (Grammatically, Words, etc.) Also if possible could you add your new idea to my topic - which is about criticising others on their religion - to make it perfect.

Here is my topic:

As you know there are some people around us living with a different religion or belief from what you already have, but when you hear some one says; I'm a Jewish, Christian, Atheist, etc. you will suddenly say "Really? How! Let me explain something to you...!", by saying that you're just oppressing them for no reason.

My question is, why are we always not respecting a different religion or belief as a personal aspect of somebody and tend to criticize or correct their idea, and if they come not to accept it you will call him/her a religious bigot! And that's how racism raised up!

Don't you think that you are a victim - just as they are - of the lies and falsehoods!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH...

I would like to give you some suggestions, as reflected in these lines:

My question is that, why are we not respecting a different religion or belief as a personal aspect of someone's life? We always tend to criticize or correct their ideas, and if they come not to accept them then we call him/her a religious bigot! This is how racism has evolved in the lives of human beings.

Don't you realise that each person has his/her own views and beliefs just as you do, and that there are reasons as to why he/she is following his own religion?

There aren't very many mistakes, but I'll change it anyway. Here's your topic with all mistakes I could find corrected.

My question is, why are we not always respecting a different religion or belief as a personal aspect of somebody? Why do we tend to criticize or correct their idea, and if they don't accept it you will call him/her a religious bigot? And that's how racism is created (or rises)!

Don't you think that you are a victim - just as they are - of the lies and falsehoods?

Good luck!

Very good, in my opinion. It might make it a bit more clear if you rearrange the last part a bit: "why can't we respect a different religion or belief as a personal aspect of somebody, instead trying to criticize or correct their idea, and if they don't accept it we call him/her a religious bigot? That is how racism gets raised up!"
Just some little changes, but they're just my opinion. No big deal.

you really choose the wrong place to ask this lol, oppressing people because of their religion occurs more often here than on the isreal, palistine border

is it wrong to tell somebody they are wrong?

if you answer yes to this question then you are in the middle of a contradiction...there is only one right way and many wrong ways. I believe myself that jesus is the right way and id ask you to follow...id say you are wrong but thats what the word says.

is it wrong to tell somebody they are wrong?
