Please help me help a friend in her situation.

She and this guy have been dating for half a year already. She recently found out the guy has been cheating on her. She has been receiving messages in her cellphone and in myspace from 3 different girls claiming to be her bf's girlfriends.

My friend confronted her bf, and he admitted those girls are really his girlfriends. Funny thing is: my friend is the most recent gf [the 4th gf, that is].

She's so upset but is torn between fighting for her man [to be "the last girl standing" as she would put it] and letting go.
I told her to let go, but she's badly inlove. How can she let go? How should she go about this case?

How can I convince her that she's better off without the guy? Please help me.

Tell her that he is not worth the effort. What will get get if she wins--a cheater!!! He will not stop cheating. Obviously, he knows that he can get by with it for a while at least. It is the excitement of juggling the around, and having a different girl anytime he wants (an ego trip, if you will).

If he really loved her, he would have already made that decision.

She has to let go - not really much of a choice is there besides moving to Utah with him and becoming his 8th wife...

What makes her think that it won't happen to her? If he actually loved her he would not have been with the other 3 even considering the fact that he was with every one of them first - he should have ended each relationship before rushing into another, he obviously cares nothing about the women only his own selfish "needs" (or wants rather), if he did he wouldn't be putting one much less four women through this.

At the risk of sounding cliche once a cheat always a cheat...

Tell her simply that since she is already gf #4, (fact)
With this kind of guy, there is really honestly no way for her to EVER be sure there won't be a gf #5, gf #6 and gf #7.
She deserves to be gf #1, and nothing else short of that.
Hopefully, she will have the self esteem/self respect to agree.
No guy out there deserves his own harem, really.

You never will convince her, she has to decide that for herself, but, if he's a serial cheater, he's not about to change all of a sudden just because she wants him too. Unless he's already dumped everyone else, and sworn undying, faithful love to her, he's not worth it (even then I don't think he would be).
Good luck with that.

tell her that she is not alone, her family and friends are with her. She can live without him and he not deserve her love. I am not telling to forget everthing but dont you dare to trust anyone easily. Throughout him from your life. Its your life, no one can play with it. Ask the other gf and beat him like that he should not play with others life. It will make you feel comfortable, get busy with unother work like study.

you need to mind your bussiness, its her choice if she wants to let her "boyfriend" make her and the other girls look stupid
