As long as they are not full of holes or look like women's shoes I don't care. If you are going somewhere formal you should wear appropriate shoes

I agree with Dallas. It isn't the kind of shoe or brand either. Its the condition of the shoe that tells a lot of things about how a man keeps himself neat and tidy.

Shoes are probably the last thing I notice when I see a man.But you cant miss it.Im into the condition of the shoe rather than the brand.

The condition, not the brand. But there can be exceptions; I tend to go for athletic guys, so if you've got a pair of sneakers that are worn in but not holey, I won't mind. It shows you run around alot.
But if you wore those same sneakers to a nice italian restaurant, I may not pursue a second date.
