Yes, parenting should be a informed choice. If you do not think you have the skills you need to be a decent parent then you should have the right to not procreate. There are certainly enough children out there without adding another.

Having children is a personal choice. If a family want to have a child, and can provide and love for that child, then go for it. However, if someone chooses not to have a child, that is their choice. Neither side should be mocked or have rude things said about them.

Of course it's your decision. The advantages include a great house, world-class vacations, a higher socioeconomic status, different (some would say better) circle of friends.

Kids will change your life in ways you cannot imagine. If that sounds unappealing, have no kids and be proud of your decision.

Just imagine if your parents and my parents had thought like this, what would have happened? We cannot kill a foetus on any cause except for the health of the mother. May be we can control the number but that should be done without causing any harm to any life.

No. The purpose of life is the preservation of life. How can we (humans) continue life without procreation? It is our job (at some point) to mate and produce offspring to further the species.
