learn everything you can about it, and maybe ask advice from friends. sounds like your not ready so don't rush yourself, its your decision, you'll know if your ready for that step

I'm probably not the best person to answer this but if u're not ready then just take your time.
It will probably be slightly painful the first time, no point forcing if it hurts too much, u need someone who's patient if it doesn't work out the first time if it hurts. It can be a gradual process that takes a few tries, u know, like tenderize teh chicken, stretch the rubber, ..
When u're mentally ready, which helps in being physically ready (wetness)... it probably won't hurt as much .
Its better when after having some alcohol!
Speak to your friends about it, about their experiences, watch some porn, read some books on the same topic, then reassess yourself, once ready don't chicken out again. Its gonna come to u sooner or later anyway :)

well the answer will depend on how old you are.. if you are below ..say.. 20 years old.. i would say this is perfectly OK.. sex has to do a lot with emotional readiness and intimacy with your partner. uncles you feel confident enough with your partner your mind will not let you release your self. this is GOOD. and natures way of protecting you from getting "emotionally hurt" later. cause at a subconscious level you know that he is not right for you. i would suggest wait for the right guy to come along and things will flow naturally. it will be well worth the wait.. believe me.. till then enjoy you friendship and meet more people.. this is a great time in your life.. cherish it..once lost it will never come back..

Basically, you're not obligated to have sex after a date. If you don't feel like it, then don't. What you need is someone you would like to have sex with simply because you like the person and you want to enjoy an intimate event with the person. If that doesn't work - find counseling.

Why do you want to get over this? Are you married? Your mind and body are telling you that you are not ready. Everytime you are with a guy, that says it all. You are supposed to be with one guy, in love, madly truly deeply and then you won't be scared at all. Don't get over this, get over feeling bad about it. You have a right to your feelings and to keep your sex to yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it also maybe that you are not TRULY WITH A PERSON YOU WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH.
and this can be from all the things you head about sex hurting as a virgin but i can tell you it DOES NOT HURT THAT MUCH

its okay if you don't want to have sex yet and you should not until you feel comfortable to do so

when you find the guy you love. you will do it happily. no point stressing yourself out now. just relax and enjoy yourself. you will know when the time comes. if really necessary, have a beer or 2.

I felt the same way, and i'm a guy, you do it when you feel comfortable, do not be forced or talked into it, it is normal to feel that way.
