I am getting out of the Army and considering a career as a Radiologic Tech. Can someone please tell me what an average day is for this occupation.

The correct title is radiologic technologist. An average day depends on where you work. I work in an outpatient medical center. Besides regular x-rays, I do upper GIs, barium enemas, intravenous pyelograms (IVP), and hysterosalpingograms (HSG). I also do occasional portable x-rays in ambulatory surgery. In a hospital, you would also be dealing with trauma patients in ER, portables in ICU, operating room cases using a C-arm, even occasional x-rays in the morgue.
