Yes! you are to be clean shaven at all times. My husbands hair on his face grows ridiculously fast. He would go to formation in the morning and be clean shaven. Then for final formation he would get yelled at because he didn't shave...when he did shave that morning. haha So yes..you have to be clean shaven. a 5 oclock shadow is a no no...
and you dont have to shave your face daily. your haircut has to be kept within regulation and that doesnt mean you have to shave all of your hair off. when you first get there they will shave it completely but after that, you can keep it in a high n tight which isn't completely shaved. I know for my husband he just cant have hair on the back of his neck (has to be very trimmed), cant have hair touching his ears, and the front has to be trimmed just like the back.

When I was in boot camp about two years ago, I had to shave at least once a day. My facial hair grows pretty quick so usually by the afternoon I would get told to shave again. On inspection days, I would sometimes shave 3 times in one day. If you are still pretty young and it doesn't grow fast you could probably get away with not shaving for a few days but you can fail an inspection if they see any facial hair. I missed one little hair on my neck and got marked down a point for it. If you have really light hair, like blonde no one will notice.

Yes they will. And the reason will become quite apparent when you go off to the gas chamber for training. If you aren't clean-shaven your gas mask isn't going to fit tightly and your face will be telling you that for a few days after.

Dude, I was the peach fuzziest skinny 18 year old basic trainee...but trust me, if they see one glint of hair in the light...you're getting ripped up.
I learned new lessons in simple and compound swearing from my military training instructor.

clean shaven means clean shaven. Shave it of or have issues. Example of what happens if you do not, having to dry shaven infront of your platoon.
