This question just came up in a converstation with friends and is it ever okay? Does this still apply to your ex's best friend?

To date a best friends ex would be a fundamental violation of the "friend code". I think the only time it would be ok is if the ex is part of you and your friend's larger circle of friends AND you had the "blessing" of your friend. But as a rule I think a best friend's ex should be off limits if you want to keep the best friend.

as soon as they break up you are allowed to ask permission and then you can close the deal right away. if you dont have permission then you have 10-15 business days to get it done

well i talk to my friend about it and be honest with her but if u know that Ur friend still love that person don't just move on their more guy and girls

me and my friends have a rules. That will not be tolerated. Ex's are off limits!

it's their ex. they broke up. why do you have to run everything by them first? just go out with the person.

It's totally against girl rules. You cant do that, regardless of the situation. "Hoes before bro's" ... ever heard of that?

It depends the terms of their breakup, and if you really, really really love him. Not like, LOVE. If you just like him or have a crush on him, no way. Off bounds.
