I have a very very good friend, who I've known for years, she's generally a very nice chirpy happy girl, and we get on very well.
When we first met, yonks ago, we were like 14- I shot straight out and asked, if she would go out with me- just out of curiosity, and of course 14 y/o boys say some right stupid things, either way, she went all shy- i felt well nasty- and she didn't say yes, but she told me she wouldn't say no...since then we've gone to films and things together, I buy her a valentine every year, and I'm always her driver if we're going anywhere, but we've never considered it a relationship, and I've always thought she could do much better. She's had boyfriends(one of whom she says she still likes) and i've had girlfriends, but I have always had this niggling crush I can't get rid of, what would you do?
Do I ask her again and see if she still feels about the same?
Or do I keep my crush a secret? 8D
What du think could happen either way?

Well you could at least ask her if she would be interested. My husband was my friend before we married. The worst she could do is to say no and you should be man enough to handle that. So ask her. Love takes time so right now I think you are in want not in love.
