Or to let it happen if you could stop it.

And all their descendants too.

If you knew someone like that, would you want to be friends with him (or her)?

Apparently that's what God does.

Is that someone you wanna be friends with?

(OK, I know it may not have been an apple. Let's say a peach or something. The question still stands.)

Oh, by the way I know that God allowed his Son (realy Himself) to be tortured to death so he wouldn't feel so mad about it. That just makes it worse it seems to me.

Exodus 21:17 And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

If you should be put to death for cursing your mom or dad, then you better be burnt alive for stealing that apple.

Well, if the law was that you were required to die after you stole the apple (or peach) and you knew it, then you would be subject to that law. God doesn't just burn people for taking apples from gardens; He cares for everyone more than anyone could possibly understand. Christ suffered and died for our sins so that all the things we screw up will not be before God at the great and final judgment day.

Oh, Please!

Every human death that has ever occured, plus all human suffering, is solely the result of Adam's sin.

Adam's sin was a complete turning away from God and an alliance with the devil against God.

Adam's prideful treason had the almost immediate effect of placing dominion of the whole world in the hands of the devil, who was the sworn enemy of both God and man, and it resulted in the enslavement of all mankind to satan, sin, and death.

The penalty for such an act is death, but anyone who is stupid enough to affirm their already existing personal relationship and alliance with the devil, also gets to share eternally in satan's very own prescribed punishment, which is hellfire.

God meanwhile, chose to send his son Jesus, solely at his own expense, to save us from all this, and to make heaven possible once again.

That's why Jesus remains my redeemer, my brother, my advocate, my heavenly high priest, my mediator, my God, my personal hero ... and if he'll have me ... my friend.

These are the kinds of questions that make it so clear to me why a majority of the world's people are so whacked in the head concerning God. First off, it never said it was an apple; Secondly, if God really is all He says He is, I'd expect Him to be as judicious and powerful in His words as He is in His actions. Otherwise, He'd be very weak in my opinion.

Actually...if you think about it...

We can't have "free will," because we can't ask God to leave the room and not spy on us...and because he's omniscient and all-knowing...

You can't have "free will" AND "determinism..."

Because if God knows what's going to happen...example: Adam and Eve being naughty...then why did he get so upset with human behavior so many times in The Bible...didn't he KNOW what was going to happen?

And if he DID know...it would seem very foolish to get upset over something you already know is going to happen...what's with THAT?!?

You can't have it both ways and everyway, people...there cannot be "both..."

It is not on the matter on material thing but God punished Adam and Eve for disobeying God, for not following his command to them.A sinner will be burn to the lake of fire if his sins has not been forgiven by God or if his sin is unforgivable like what you arew doing, You are committing unforgivable sin against God by uttering and saying bad words and offensive words against him.

You do not know what you are talkin g but you kept on uttering unnecessary words with out knowing the consequences of what you have done. You Idiot . You are described in the book of Romans Chap[ter 1 which reads"
unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Who said God is angry because Adam stole an apple?

he is angry because Adam disobeyed a direct order from Him that he should not eat from that tree.

Disobedient is the problem not stealing my friend.
