It came from the cloud (rain) blown by the wind (rain) made the stream (rain) and the earth is its resting place (rain)

Jane if rain evaporates then it becomes a different form of water, rain is still correct because the last place the rain hits is the earth

well technically, if it's rain, the earth is not gonna be its final resting place because it's gonna keep evaporating and condensing in the water cycle. sorry, i kinda ruined your riddle
