How can someone say the have a "soul" but don't belive in a creater of that soul?

I do not call it a soul, but an "essence". It is what makes me, me, as a person. It is something that through the years as I grew and developed into an adult, was shaped and formed by everything around me.
My parents love, my education, what I was seeing around me, the things that were taught to me. All the stimuli thru the years, that made my essence develop into me. How I view things, How I treat others. My moral guidance.
I believe, if a person, while growing up has been abused, and basically treated like a "throw away", that person will turn out that way, suspicious of others, not able to maintain a relationship, ect ect. But a person who has been shown kindness and love and learns values, then that person will have a strong essence to maintain those values and pass them on.
I don't believe a soul is given to a person, or created for a person, but nurtured and grown inside him/her. So, yes, I do believe a "soul" r "essence" evolves as a person grows.

There is no particular reason someone else's concept of the soul has to be similar to your concept of the soul. A soul could be an eternal core that was simply called into their body at birth, a metaphysical self that was created mechanically by their parents along with their physical self, or simply a name for some completely mundane part of the human mind.

Soul is just a word of description.You can also called it as spirit,if someone in the past call human as dog.Maybe we are still using the word 'dog.' to call human.Does God have soul?God said "God ,you and holy spirit are one".What does this meant?If God is the creator,who create God?Who is to be blame for the bad things if God is the creator?

Since none of our puny brains have the capacity to wrap around the real reason for our existence or our origins, it's not beyond comprehension that we also don't really have a handle on whether we possess a soul or not or where it came from.
