somewhere around the time that you asked this question...lol...seriously....write a list of what you expect in a man and DO NOT COMPROMISE!!! sounds silly but you'll be amazed at how often you have to turn one away that you typically would have dated...good ppl in general are hard to find these days....be true to yourself girl....no one else will!!! and don't be so eager to give of yourself....wait to make sure they are worthy...

Maybe another option might be to stop "dating" the way you have. That is, enjoy getting together with people informally instead - individuals/groups without the "date" tag. Just getting together to have fun, enjoy the person(s) with no expectations. Do things for no particular reason.
The person doesn't have to live up to your expectation or you to his. If something nice should develop, that's fine. If not, you just spent some time being with a friend(s) and didn't have to put a whole lotta personal-level investment into it.
Sometimes the best things come along when we're not looking for them. Or when we don't expect them!
I don't know if that makes sense, lol. It's just my 2 cents, anyway. Best wishes to you.

hmm..good question. i've probably pondered that myself several times now...but i 'd have to say that as much as i want to stop dating, there's always an internal drive that makes us humans want love, so we keep looking for it. we're just programmed like that. i don't know if this helps, but i say, if ur really that tired of the dating scene, then take a break, gather ur strength and give it another go after a bit. nothing's impossible...remember that ;^)
