I usually put up the tree and do all my Christmas decorating the week of Thanksgiving. This year I don't know when I'll put it up---if it weren't for the kids, I'd probably skip it this year and put nothing up except one of my Nativity sets. I have a collection of them. And yes, our Christmas is centered around Christ........Christmas is a celebration of the birth of our Saviour.

Well since the next time we will be home will be around Dec 20th, that's when the decorations will go up. I haven't had a Christmas tree in years, so I don't have an themed ornaments planned or bought as yet.

Christ will be the center of the holiday, however, just like with every other day in my life.

This year most of my children are grown in college or married or both. So, it will not get to be to much I have started putting up the trees. I put up three trees. One Disney Tree, A Sports Tree mostly football...Then I will buy a real tree on that tree the Christmas things my children have made...Under each tree and out in our front yard will be a Nativity Scene without the wise men or baby Jesus. On Christmas we will put Jesus in the manger a few days later we will bring out the Three Wise Men.........So, we will have a little of both but we never forget why we decorate the house and Yard. Why we have new clothes, good food and gifts

God it should be a law that you have to wait at least a week. My neighbors had it up a week and half after Halloween then the rest of the block the day after Thanksgiving. I like to wait a week or so, or at least till December has begun. Religion? Ehhh maybe the nativity scene that many people have.

I'll be putting up mine tonight. A small one. Considering the tree and other decorations are directly from Pagan traditions, it would be hard for me to avoid the religious theme to it... since I am Pagan. =)

We put ours up in mid-December. Religion will be part of our ritual and our celebrations. We aren't Christians, we celebrate Light, usually on the Solstice.
