If The TV paints A Frame progressively would'nt it take longer to make the frame Than It Would Interlaced

With Progressive, it paints all the lines in the same amount of time it would take to paint half the lines using Interlaced.

If an interlaced TV paints every other line 60 times a second, it's essentially painting every line 30 times a second. Progressive would paint every line 60 times a second.
