I stopped taking my BC in Oct. had light bleeding(only there when wiped) for a week, then reg period started on the 5th of Nov. I believe that I had EWCM on the 20th. My husband and I had sex on the 19th & 21st. He pulled out, but went right back in for seconds w/o cleaning off or anything both nights. (Sorry if TMI) I've never really had regular periods which is why I was on BC to start with, so I don't really know when I should start another period. My questions are: what are the chances of pregnancy? Since I don't know when I should start, when should I take a preg test, if at all? I know withdrawal is not an effective form of birth control. We're not ttc, but we're not, NOT trying either.

Well, I do imagine that some went in b/c the 1st time I was on top, and he didn't throw me off. Not to mention, he let himself go very close to my crotch area(just trying not to be too graphic for the young ones that may stumble upon) I know the chances are slim, I'm just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences, and what happened? Also, maybe if anyone has any percentage ideas of pos. preg.?

Katherine, if you read all of my question, you would see that I put "I know withdrawal is not an effective form of birth control." And it's not even like the way you make it sound. We've talked about having kids, and we are both ready. What I meant by we're not trying, but not NOT trying is that we're just letting things happen naturally. You know, none of that charting your temps, checking your cervix, and CM all the time.

I was very irregular too and i was never sure of when i would be ovultaing or when i was due for my periods.

I waited 2 weeks to test, i had cramps the whole time and sore breasts but they are common symptoms for me before i get my period so i didnt think too much of it but after 2 weeks with these symptoms i thought i had better do a test. And sure enough i was pregnant. I just left it as long as i could because i had been dissapointed so many times.

I would wait 2 weeks and then take the test and see how you go.

Honestly its hard to say. I do know the chances of you getting pregnant because he has some sperm left on him when he goes back in, is low. But That doesn't mean totally not able to get pregnant. you can be pregnant, you may not be pregnant.. (like you are saying). My best advice is, Whenever the first day of your last period was, add 4 and a half weeks, then test because that is a Full cycle for a period, even if your periods come later, sonner whatever that is the longest a normal period may come! Just relax and time will tell!

I think you should decide if you're really ready to be parents. Withdrawal is NOT an effective method of birth control. I think a child deserves more thought than "We're not trying, but we're not NOT trying." Anyway, ask your gynecologist. When you go off birth control, your periods might be light at first or irregular. Also, I would wait and see if you have symptoms of pregnancy (like nausea) before taking a pregnancy test.

I saved monitor of the whole thing to get pregnant this time so I can inform you what occurred with me. My final interval was once eleven/25. I had dry cm till 12/08 whilst i ovulated with egg white cm till 12/eleven. I had dry cm till 12/17 whilst implantation happened, then I had creamy cm. I received a optimistic experiment 12/23. I have had creamy cm due to the fact that. When implantation happened I felt moderate interval like cramping and started to get sore breasts. That lasted for approximately 6 weeks.

Since your periods are usually irregular then you should wait 2 to 3 weeks after the sexual intercourse you are describing to take the pregnancy test.
Since there was still sperm present on him when he entered you again then there is a chance of pregnancy..
