Because she knew he had outstanding warrants. They were pretty serious charges so he'll be in prison for a long time and I can't wait that long for him. She ruined my relationship. She says she did it to protect me and others from him, but she didn't know him like I did. I seriously HATE her for doing this.
How do I get over this? How can I forgive her? I don't know what to do and I feel like killing her for it.

Stacy blood is thicker than water. Love your sister, talk to your sister. she might have saved you although you may think that she was against you. You knew that eventually he was to be caught. If he was to be caught at the time you were pregnant, how would you have care for yourself without him? Tell your sister thank your, and open your eyes wider for a better understanding.

I congratulate her for having the guts to do something about it, rather than standing by and letting you ruin your life on some thug!
You are demonstrating a lack of common sense.
These pages at Yahoo Answers are full of girls who have lived with, been knocked-up and abandoned by guys like this... and no chance of either getting child support or recovering their credit ratings.
If you think you can FIX a guy, you are wasting your time and energy, and irritating him. It is a futile experiment.
Go get a NEW boyfriend that is actually an upstanding citizen without an arrest record! Get someone who is employed and can pay his own bills.

You should be thanking her. She must love you a lot, since she didn't want you to go out with a creep.
Good for her that she ruined your relationship, there will be many more relationships in the future, and hopefully next time you will pick somebody to go out with that has some class instead of a prison record.
Look to the future, would you want to be married to that man with all his problems.
Start afresh and forget him. One day you will see what your sister saved you from and then, if not now, you should give her a hug and thank her,

What if he would have killed you? What if he did a crime and had you involved? You should be thanking your sister. Sometimes it takes people on the outside looking in to tell us there is something wrong with what we are doing. You sister was just looking out for your best interest. He was eventually going to go to jail, so what kind of relationship is that? Your sister is your blood and when some other guy comes along and dogs you out (God forbid) your sister will be right there to love you and comfort you. You are blessed and don't even know it. A question that I have for you is...........would you want your son or daughter to be going with someone who has a shady reputation and done illegal things which possibly would place your son or daughter in harms way?
It takes a lot of intestinal fortitude to do what your sister has done because she knows that she did the "right thing" in order to protect you and she did it out of her love for you even though, she knew it would anger you and possibly end your relationship as sisters.
Hopefully, you would be able to protect your sister because you both have the same blood and blood is thicker than water.
Love is more positive than hate.

well i dont think your sister would just turn in your boyfriend for the ffun of it, or just to make you hate her or be tremendously sad. i think she only did it for your own good. if shes your sister than she wants the best for you, and beleives hat by turningyour boyfriend in it is protecting you from danger. i dont know him so i cant say much but unless theres a huge missunderstanding i beleive that it might just be better for your own sake, and eventually it might bring you and your sister or even you and your boyfriend closer together. and while he is in prison you can always visit him.

Kudo's to your sister. You were dating a low-life scum and your sister rescued you from a disaster in the making. What's to forgive? Do you have such incredibly low self-esteem that you don't think you deserve any better than this slug? Because obviously, your sister thinks more of you than that.

I'm sorry but she did the best for the community. that's how the free world works. in some foreign parts the local head would have had him taken into the bush and beaten to death. you are lucky to have a protective sister, she could have let you hang yourself with the rope you were playing with.

Why would you make a man who has committed crimes your boyfriend? Really, your sister was looking out for your best interests, and someday you may see this.
You might hate your sister, but she loves you. Now start loving yourself, and next time, look for a man with some self-respect and dignity.
