reworded question:

Is it logical for a woman who has had a child out of wedlock to preach against condoms and birthcontrol? I felt sorry for her because she seemed like the many women who go through that, they break down and give up to the church feeling depressed and then years later say this stuff.

Condoms in a high school is a good idea. Teaching abstinence obviously doesn't work. The period of time when there were the most teenage pregnancies was in the 1950s a time when they were supposed to be so great on teaching abstinence and have great family values. Since they started teaching safe sex pregnancies have gone down. It's a good thing!

That lady is not wrong btw, she is speaking from experience.

ticd-perfect answer. Is it possible to realize the mistake that was made.I had a child out of wedlock and I married the girl and was married 15 years.I should have never married this girl but I was in love and thought I knew what I wanted,I was too young to know better. If i would have never had made a child I probably never would have married her.
Condoms and birth control should not be promoted in the schools. That's the decision of the parents not the school.
Young people under 18 don't have a choice. They are the responsability of the parents.I would be highly upset if I knew this was promoted in my district.I'm all for education but the final decision should be mine not the schools of what options should be offered.
When you have kids you'll understand.

Looking at the context of "birth control and condoms" in your original question, I can say myself that it's a sad sign of the times that many of us think we SHOULD be providing these things to our high-school children.

As far as a woman who had a child outside of wedlock when she was not a believer, becoming a believer and then preaching against her prior sins, all new believers do this with their old vices; as we learn more what God's will is, we learn more things that we shouldn't do.

I would have to hear more about what she said to give a more informed opinion, but from what you described I can see both sides of the argument clearly enough.

When it comes to our human emotions there is nothing that is logical. If it were life would be much simpler. Even the Apostles did not agree completely on every matter. This life is a continual learning process. We go through many changes as we learn and grow. some learn and grow faster and more completely than others. Judge not lest ye yourselves be judged, for by the measure you judge you shall be judged. Remember this when we look at others. Forgive and you shall be forgiven, be mercy-full and you shall recieve mercy.

When people give up and go to church, they are not giving up, they are realizing they don't have all the answers and thier is someone who does, they are finally accepting that we create quite a mess when we go it alone.
A person is literally born again when they accept Jesus Christ as thier savior, they are making new choices, they are being guided, and you will see a change in them for the better.
Instead of standing back finding what is wrong, stand up for what is right, you'll get further that way.

Honestly, it makes no sense to me. Let's face it, people are going to do it whether you say "wait till you're married" or not. May as well teach them how to prevent getting into more serious trouble.
The previous question made sense but was a little bit too complicated to come up with a good answer to. :)

Absolutely. Who better to know the right path than one who has gone down the wrong path and then repented and went the right way?

Well she has certainly demonstrated that she doesnt believe in birth control.
Sadly there are options which some people take up.
There is an old saying that bad girls don't have babies.

Faith in Christ Jesus releases us from depression and guilt because He has forgiven us.
