Those who follow religion seem to save all sorts of people- all sorts of sinners. And yet most want atheists to go to hell?

They only want us to go to Hell when their poorly executed attempts to convert us fail miserably.

WHO SAID??? We don't WANT atheists to go to hell, we're simply stating the fact that IF they do not chose to believe in Jesus' gift of salvation, the FACT is that they WILL go to hell. We don't WANT them to... God doesn't want them to... and we will pray that the day comes in their life that they will find the Lord, and NOT go to hell!
Please watch those generalizations... "everyone"... and "most"... it's really not a good idea to toss generalizations around so broadly.

Everyone can't and doesn't hate atheists.As far as saving is concerned;it would suffice if believers can save themselves leave aside others.Atheists don't care for hell or heaven either.

I don't hate atheists at all, I am a christian. The word Christan means Christ like-Christ loved everyone. I love all people atheists included, I pray for you guys. I never want ANYONE to EVER experience hell, I'm sorry you feel people hate atheist, maybe i shed some new light on this.

People hates Atheists because we display having the ability to think for ourselves as freethinkers while having independent thoughts and using rational thinking. These three traits are opposed by a majority of religions hence the reason why they discourage it with its followers and the reason why they hate Atheists.

I don't think that's what any good christian wants. The reason some come off in a unappealing way, Is more than likely, we care about everyone and don't want anyone to go to hell.

For all their claims about not wanting us to go to their Hell, they sure harp on it a lot. Especially when their arguments from authority, arguments from ignorance, and straw men fail.

That's mostly true of religions like Christianity. In Wicca, we largely don't care what others believe -- if it makes sense to you and isn't hurting anyone else, it's your business, and it's not OUR business to try and convert you. In fact, for us to do so would be both rude and unethical.
Oh, and Wicca doesn't have a "hell" or "unsaved" concept, either.

My friends like me, so not "everyone" hates atheists. And most religionists wouldn't hate atheists, either, if they weren't being told by their preachers and Fox News to do so.
Or it might be because we use "Check Spelling."

As a Jehovah’s Witness I in no way would hate someone because they didn’t share my beliefs. Every human has the right to do and believe what they wish. =)
