What do you do if you feel like your being watch every moment. I really do love my family but it seems that sometimes they are watching me every moment, and its not that I'm doing anything but they are constantly calling me at work to see what time I will be home, I have flexable hours so its not uncommon for me to be home early, when I'm on the computer my 19 year old daughter asks what I'm doing, she also tells me that my DH asks her questions about what I do when he is at work or asleep. I really love these people and don't want to hurt them, but it seems for the most part they don't care about me, just want to know when I can do something for them, and seems they are constantly over my shoulder trying to catch me at something, how do I tell them to leave me alone!

Your new mantra is, “If the mama ain’t happy, then NOBODY is happy.” The mama is the ultimate authority. You must step into your power as such.

You are not a slave. YOU ARE NOT ANSWERABLE TO YOUR DAUGHTER! Tell them to get to work and mind their own business. Learn to tell them to sod-off!

This is a two-way street. Quit being a doormat. Start grilling them on their activities... what are they doing to earn their meals? Why should you cook for them? The burger shack is thataway!

The 19 year old needs to be either at work or at college, preferably BOTH. If she is under your roof, she needs to help out around the house.

If your husband has any questions about your whereabouts, he can bloody well call you. Perhaps you can leave some notes on a calendar for him.

have you confronted them about the situation, or do you just feel that way and have kept it to yourself. If its just to see when you can do things for them, then i would say something about it, but maybe they are worried about you for some reason. The only reason I think i may do that was because I was worried about the person, maybe they were a danger to themself or something? has it just been happening lately or for a while, maybe they are tryin to surprise you or something i have no idea. Just talk to them. even if they are doing it for your health or something, tell them it bothers you, or start doin it to them...

There must be more to this story. Did you do something in the past to make them distrust you? If you did, then you will have to earn their trust back! Otherwise this whole scenerio sounds ridiculous!
