Does secret dating mean you are having an affair with a married person? If so, the advantage may be no strings, less expectations. The disadvantage may be the same.

There are no advantages to secret dating. You are having to lie to everyone you supposively care about to do it. How is that a good thing?

Advantages: well, it's secret. You can be with multiple people.
Disadvantages: there's usually a reason it's secret (ie one of the parties is embarrassed to be seen with the other or is being unfaithful)

The adrenaline of sneaking around can be fun. But when you can't share your feelings about this person with loved ones, it can be a pain.
