What is that one saying by Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) regarding the interaction between the opposite sexes? It is something about a man and woman never being alone because the devil is between them. I need the exact quote please and thanks.

"Not one of you should meet a woman alone unless she is accompanied by a relative (mahram)" (Bukhari/Muslim). The Prophet (peace be upon him) also reportedly said, "Whenever a man is alone with a woman, Satan (Shaytan) is the third among them" (Tirmidhi)."

The Hadith we know is like this:
When an unrelated man and a woman are alone together in a room, third one present there is Satan and Satan whisper ideas about sex in the heart of one or both of them.
It is some thing like this but may not be in exact words of Prophet SAW.
This is to advise Muslim men and women or even teenagers never to be alone in a room or else satan will get you commit a sin. For this reason Muslims girls never go out with any male alone where they might have opportunity to have sex.
This advice is mainly for younger age males and females.

To Non Muslims being alone or together is not a problem. Yes it is true that under this situation it is not necessary that every couple will commit sin. This is a warning from Prophet to avoid such situations. Even one girl of boy commit this sin once in a life is enough to end in hell fire. Because in Islam this is big sin and punishment for married men and women is death and for singles it is 80 lashes. If your societys laws do not have such punishment then, Allah will give that punishment in the next life. Therefore please take it seriously because Messenger of Allah wishes to protect every Muslims from hell fire even it is one in million.

That's ridiculous, really. Men and women are alone all the time in a wide variety of settings and behave themselves, morally, spiritually, physically, professionally, etc. Somehow they are able to control themselves, so if Satan is there he doesn't have much power over us.
It is time to enter the 21st century.
