I've loved my friend for two years, and I'm pretty sure he dosen't feel the same way. Everytime I'm starting to get over him, he pops out of nowhere and its back. How can I get over him?

I was married to some one for 5 years who told me one day that she wanted a divorce because she "just wanted to see what all the hype was about" I loved her very much and we had two wonderful children who she also left to live with me full time.

To answer your question I don't really know, but if you find out how please tell me!

I'm in a somewhat similar situation...What I'd reccomend doing is inviting one or two VERY close girl-friends over for the night and just freak out. Weather they know about your feelings towards this guy or not. Oh, and Icecream tends to help, too. If you really love him, you probably won't be able to get him off your mind, but this could very easily help to relax you and maybe by being so close to these friends, you'll be more able to open up to this guy. Maybe. Hope this helped!

Boy have I been there! If his presence causes you this much anguish, the first thing you have to do is maintain distance from him. The only thing you can really do is give it some time. Some people would say to get out and start dating other people, but that could do more harm than good. You are more vulnerable to falling too quickly for someone else (rebound) and regretting it later. Best thing is to do things that you enjoy and occupy yourself and just give yourself some time. You will eventually get over him. Good luck to you!

refuse to see him; take a trip to somewhere you have always wanted to go, with a friend

join a group with the same interests as yours and get busy volunteering to help others

wasting the only life you are given pining over someone who doesn't feel the same about you is a colossal waste of time and you will never meet anyone else who would truly be the man youw ant to spend your life with.

good luck to you.

I was in your situation but then someone made me see that he was number one NOT Perfect. Second I think I loved who he is and I wanted to be more like that person. Im telling you it totally cured me I no longer want to be with this person. And I am alone right now and loved him for 17 yrs but now even if he asked I wouldn't be with him now. This is a huge change. Try it it may work for you to. he is in my past now

Tell him once and for all how you feel. If he says that he does not feel the same way, then just ask that he not contact you anymore until you feel better about just being friends.
