So you had Lymes Disease were treated with the correct treatment and now have headaches?
Left untreated, Lyme disease can cause:
Chronic joint inflammation (Lyme arthritis), particularly of the knee
Neurological symptoms, such as facial palsy and neuropathy
Cognitive defects, such as impaired memory
Heart rhythm irregularities
Late-stage symptoms also may include:
Memory loss
Difficulty concentrating
Changes in mood or sleep habits
However you were treated, so you should not be having these symptoms. I think you need to return to the Doc and explain this has nothing to do with Lymes Disease, you are feeling unwell and can he figure out what the problem is?

Ask to be referred to a pain clinic that offers alternatives to drugs as well. Such a clinic offers help with relaxation techniques and ways to reduce stress which can trigger your pain. They combine therapies instead of just giving you a pain pill prescription. If referred then go. The experts there can then evaluate your condition and teach you the best coping skills.
You know this is a life long problem, so you need to address it with more than medication. Let the Drs. know that you want help to cope for the long run ahead.

just keep making new appointments at your doctors and ask them to refer you to a specialist

or ask to see a different doctor

if you remain persistent they will refer you and the specialist will know the best way to deal with it

do not let your doctor call you a liar otherwise you will end up living with the pain

good luck
