Hi. usually Ventolin or Salbutamol=blue inhaler....Becotide=brown inhaler Seretide=purple inhaler and there are others that i have not been prescribed i know there is one in an orange inhaler and a green one but i dont know what they are called... i know the seretide is available in a powder type form and ventolin in tablet form. The powdered seretide is in like a circular flattish dispenser, that you move the dial round and just inhale out of the opening.A volumiser helps get the inhalent into the lungs deeper and they are available (and cheaper) off prescription. I hope this helps xx P.S the seretide and becotide are both low dose steroids, after using it is worth having a drink of water as they both can cause oral thrush.
