When I enlisted in the Marine Corps I went in under the Delayed Entry Program when I was 17. I am not sure how it works now (I went in in 1990, signed in under the DEP in 1989). My advice would be to call a recruiter and set up a meeting if you are really interested. Good luck and thank you very much for your interest in serving.

Yes you can, you will enter what is called DEP (delayed entry program) where you will work with the recruiters until you obtain either a GED or highschool diploma. As soon as you have one of those documents and assuming you have a parents signature, you ship off for bootcamp.

If i've got been you i does no longer flow to his station commander (he might desire to conceal for him) i might flow marvelous to his company commander or worse his battalion Commander then they haven't any determination yet to look at. finally he will lose rank and be kicked out. probable be charged with statutory rape and do time. DO comprehend that in case you checklist it there is not any going back. you in basic terms ruined his profession (nicely he did) and he gets a dishonorable discharge so destiny jobs is in basic terms no longer to stable. So in case you have childrens i might take a breather and picture approximately it rationally. additionally if his battalion refuses to do something approximately it arise with yet another battalion and put in a "nameless tip" this is going to ultimately trickle down..stable success additionally comprehend that after he grew to alter right into a recruiter in his paper artwork it suggested something like "i won't be able to have any very own relationships with any DEPS or destiny squaddies"
