effect my hair and skin? It sometimes stains the tub and used to stain clothes but lately hasn't been staining clothes. I think salt or something to treat it was used but I think it's bad for my hair. Any ideas if it is bad for me or not?

I've used well water in the past before, it has a lot of iron and minerals which make make your skin really dry as well as hair.

I started to get dry and flaky skin because of the well water. I went to Home Depot and I bought a "showerhead filter". It's like one of those filters use can use for the kitchen sink. You will see a difference in your skin once you use it. Here's the link

Oh you need change the filter regularly that way you get nice filtered water each time you shower. And moisterise!!

The first addition I made in my house was to install a water softener, and filter. Now I have crystal clear, tasty water. Ask at your home depot for help, it`s worth every Penny.
