I would like to know if you would keep my family in your thoughts and prayers throughout the month of December. My cousin will be deployed to Iraq next Saturday, December 1st. We had a going away get together tonight for him and it was... sad. It will be the first time that one of the 8 grandchildren (on my mom's side) will be gone over the holidays. To top it off I will also be away. I leave for West Africa on December 17th and will be away for 3 weeks. I am scared, nervous, and excited at the same time. I also am very worried about my cousin... we are pretty close and I am trying to be a strong individual about this.
So please, if it is not too much to ask, keep my family in your thoughts throughout the next month or so. Thank you in advance.

My son was in Iraq for eight months, and never came under fire once. It's not as dangerous there as the media tries to make it sound. Regardless, with the Lord protecting him, he will be safe.

My husband was career military, and though we married after he retired, I always pray for the soldiers everywhere. Bless you and your family, and God bless the soldiers.
