Anyone who doesn't answer 'Heaven' is just kidding themselves.

As an agnostic, I have no clue as to what follows death, if anything. However, whatever it is or isn't, no amount of our debating it or claiming to believe or to have faith in Heaven will alter the actuality. We simply do not know and can not know, nor can we cite near-death experiences as legitimate proof of the existence of an afterlife because those who describe such visions were not, in fact, dead; death is the permanent absence of brain activity, and no one returns from that state to report on the hereafter. As for me, I have a concept of what I would like the afterlife to be, and it is unique and at odds with religious views. If, however, death is simply nonexistence, then that is what it is, and it does not scare me. Being dead is apparently painless; it is dying which can be agony, and that I would dread. I would prefer not to be reincarnated.

Wow, that was a run-on sentence if I ever saw one.. ever hear of a period?

Anyway, if I had the choice of where I could go when I died, I'd certainly want to go somewhere tropical.. I mean, I'd rather not die myself but these things happen.. and having a choice will only make it easier, I guess.

Preferably I shall try my best not to be born again or to go to other abodes. For that I shall try my best to live this life with fairness and not doing any bad deeds. ( this is my buddhist belief)

Scientifically, I am not afraid of dying and beyond which I do not know.

I am afraid of suffering this life , pain , hunger, anger, greed, lust and all. For that I need to meditate to learn how to lessen the sufferings.

I hope where ever I go, I get to be with my family. Id love to see my mom and my wife again. Would be nice to talk to some of my ancestors... Would be interesting to see what my spirit looks like.. What my "ideal" self is in Gods eyes... Would be nice to see my old German Shepard and other pets and actually be able to talk to them..

I'd like to go to my own personal paradise. But I suspect I'll end up the same way I was before being born -- I just won't exist.

I'm going exactly where we all go, nowhere. Death is just death. No fanfare, no exotic locales attached.
Though, failing that.......I hear Hell is a blast and Satan makes great Apple Martinis.
