it is still a small kitten, only about 8-9 weeks old. for those of you who dont know about hemmingways, they have 6 toes on each paw. i dont want to sell it, i just heard somewhere that they r worth a good bit and i want to know how good a 'good bit' is

Same as any other mixed breed kitten.

It's a polydactyl (Hemmingway was fond of them, he kept a lot of them). Polydactylism is hereditary, so it's not all that uncommon. There's all variations--extra toes on just the front, just the back, or all four paws. Some have fewer toes, but that's more rare. Being a polydactyl doesn't add extra cost to a cat though.

In every breed of show cat it's considered a fault except for the Pixibobs, they allow it.

Hemingway is not a breed, it is a genetic mutation. It doesn't mean extra money. It's actually called being polydactylic and is a fairly common mutation across breeds. Very few people will pay extra for a cat with extra toes.

It is not worth any more money than any other non-pedigree cat.

Please remember that kittens of any type, pedigree or non-pedigree are at high risk of health problems if they are removed from their mothers before a full course of vaccinations is completed.
