Hi,

If you have a Mac then QuickTime is supported. Turn on the Movie toolbar using View > Toolbars > Movie. Then click the insert movie button. You can use the Movie toolbar to set a poster frame, preview the movie, etc.

Windows PowerPoint still doesn't support QuickTime, so you have to convert the QuickTime to some format that PowerPoint for Windows understands. AVI is one, WMV is another. There's no Movie toolbar in Windows PowerPoint, so use Insert > Movie > From File using the menus.

to incorporate a action picture or video clip in a PowerPoint presentation, you purely click 'Insert', click on 'video clips and sounds', then click 'action picture from document'. understand that PowerPoint purely acknowledges MP3, AVI and few different document codecs so in case you won't be in a position to upload a video by using fact it is FLV or another unrecognized media type, then you definately in simple terms get carry of a video format converter, to transform the document to a recognised format.

Save it. It doesn't matter where, but I personally recommend desktop since you can click on it from your desktop too.

Open PowerPoint, click on insert at the top, then scroll down to movies and sounds, movie from file, then when the new window pops up, click on the desktop button to the left and click on it in the screen. It should be on the slide.
