I hosted thanksgiving at my place this year & ended up with about 3 lbs. of fudge from my generous relatives. I'm not a huge fudge eater (so, shoot me) so any suggestions on how to use the fudge in desserts when I have ppl over. The flavors are of course chocolate, chocolate peanut butter & cookies&cream

Fudge freezes well. So you could just freeze it and then thaw when you're having guests throughout the rest of the holiday season. Or soften some ice cream and add some chopped fudge pieces and refreeze. Or add some to brownies. I don't think fudge would work very well in cookies because the fudge is already soft, but you might try it as "extra" chips. Or heat it with some evaporated milk or cream and use as fudge sauce.

Try this recipe.

Microwave Chocolate Fudge

3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine, diced
1 cup chopped walnuts

Combine first 3 ingredients in a 2-quart glass bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 4 to 5 minutes, stirring at 1 1/2 minute intervals.

Stir in chopped walnuts, and pour mixture into a buttered 8-inch square dish. Chill at least 2 hours.

Cut into squares.

**** You can chop up some and sprinkle on top of frosted cake, warm some up and pour over ice cream, added to hot chocolate, or coffee, make your own sandwich cookies and cover in chocolate and make a bonbon.
