There are 130 calories in an Eggo waffle, which isn't bad, so yes it would be fine for a diet. BUT if you load it up with syrups and butter, then the calories also shoot up! and then it's bad!

Dietary simply means pertaining to the diet-so if you eat "ego" waffles, whatever that is, then yes, they are.
